While walking the path around Homestead Hospt. There were baby coots last week but they seem to have disappeared. Three common terns are working the ponds. Boat tail grackles are threatening walkers along the path. Black neck Stilts are across the street in the puddles. A large dark duck is there too but I didn't see it well because I was driving. No, it wasn't a muscovy. More like a mottled. There are also two lighter ones on the ponds. And there was a brown cotten tail rabbit running under the hedge at sunrise.
