I took my first trip to the Dry Tortugas yesterday. I got three out of four target life birds: one adult Brown Booby, plus the Sooty Terns and Brown Noddies. The Brown Noddies were standing on the pilings that I was snorkelling around, they were so close I felt I could reach up and touch one. A few migrants were also present: a Western Sandpiper, several Ruddy Turnstones, a few Prairie Warblers, and an American Redstart, Ovenbird, and Prothonotary Warbler.

I saw some great fish too, including a barracuda, French Angelfish, some butterflyfish, several species of surgeonfish and parrotfish, and a large ray. On the way out the ferry scared up some flying fish, which were awesome.
