I heard and saw the La Sagra's Flycatcher this morning at 10 AM. It was next to Arthur Lamb, Jr. Road, .4 miles north of the fork in the road (stay right). It was on the east side of the road and eventually flew to the west side, where it remained in a large stand of Casuarina trees for about 15 minutes. It called frequently.
Directions: From the Rickenbacker Causeway, turn on Arthur Lamb, Jr. Road toward Virginia Key Beach and Picnic Area (fee). Drive north ~.2 miles until there is a fork in the road. Stay right and continue another .4 miles. The bird wanders a large area.
