Took a quick trip to Bill Baggs between 6 and 7:30 pm. Right away a peregrine falcon flew over the hill at No Name Harbor. Small numbers of migrants were present. Two painted bunting females, c. yellowthroat, bt. blue, redstart, ovenbird, blackpoll (all males) prairie, 2 groups of palms (late?). Most of the warblers were pretty sparse, but towards the end, there was a large number (around 20-30) Cape Mays, all males. There was a group of 5 male bobolinks (fos) on the hill.
Didn't see any of the 'rare' birds, but I was in that area twice.
