Birded Arch Creek and Enchanted Forest Parks in the morning (7:15 - 9:30 am), hoping that heavy rains in the late evening would settle some migrants in the park. The morning started off slow but nice with a Blue-headed Vireo and N. Parula's singing in Live oaks near the park office. As the morning progressed several small waves of mixed warbler species appeared throughout both parks: Black-poll Warblers (6), Cape May Warblers (6), Black-throated Green Warbler (1), Magnolia Warbler (1), Northern Parula (6),Black and White Warblers (3), Common Yellowthroat(1),American Redstarts(2),Black-throated Blue Warblers (4), Prairie Warbler(2), Worm-eating Warbler (1), plus a Red-eyed Vireo. Also present were N. Catbirds, Painted Bunting, N. Cardinal (carrying nesting material), and a Red-shouldered Hawk. A pair of Egyptian Geese flew over Enchanted Forest Park.
