Went to look for the Upland Sandpipers in the freshly plowed fields just
south of 217thAve and just north of Lucky Hammock. Had no luck with the Upland
Sandpipers but found 9 Sandhill Cranes and a few White Crowned Pigeons at Luck
Hammock. Not much else. (Mockers, Cardinals, Shrike, Red-winged Black Birds,
Starling, and 100s of  Barn Swallow) There were a few fields with some
ponding from the recent rain. There were no shore birds.

I took a few photos of this "Cotton Mouth?" I saw just off of Research Rd.
