Judging from my (inland) observations here in Broward, a higher percentage of fruiting trees (particularly strangler fig) are just now beginning to ripen and the recent rains have have brought forth huge numbers of flying insects. I'm predicting that the next 2 weeks should be outstanding.
BTW, which species are you looking for?
