Migration is a yearlong event Brian. If you are talking about warblers, tanagers, grosbeaks etc., then the last two weeks of April and the first two weeks of May are commonly the most active weeks for spring migration in S. FL with a steady decline in activity thereafter.
When talking about migration one has to remember that once Neo-Trop migrants are on territory and breeding, shorebirds are about to head south and pelagic species are on the move. Migration is just trimmed down, in other words the large scale movements of birds over the landscape are on a lesser scale.
