Hey all!
Just wanted to get the word out that West Palm, Broward and Miami-Dade counties are going to be part of the South East portion while Key Largo south will form the Keys portion and complete the alliance around Florida. This will mean that the whole state will be on the same page when it comes to shorebird nesting - whether it be rooftop or beach. At Crandon we are trying to promote the beach to Least Tern by having the restricted bird area (right now 400 ft x 100 ft but hopefully larger soon) and setting out decoys. If anyone knows of a rooftop site please email me!
