Where I saw them yesterday was near the entrance. I was actually on my way out when they finally showed up. From the parking lot walk past the nature center and go straight onto the boardwalk. Walk approx 30 feet and stop where you are between the two ponds. Turn and face the pond on the left. The Scissor-tails were perching in and flying between the trees in the distance with the leafless limbs sticking out the top. There is a thin dead tree sticking up behind the right side of the pond and one of them perched on the top of that for awhile.
The other kingbirds were at the very end of the trail where it dead ends into a T. They were also perching in and flying between the leafless trees in the distance.
