Team mass Ducks. John Hutchison , Russ Titus Steve and Rachel Svec. We blast past our record of last Year with 119 Species. More eyes, faster walking and less admiration of the birds plus addition of Snake road helped our list, despite a generally poor migration..
Highlights:
Snake Road; GH Owl, Caracara, Meadowlark, Bobwhie, Turkey, Sandhill Cranes,Bobolink, kingfisher, American Crow, Savannah ( our only) Sparrow
Wac/ Green Cay: Neotropical commorant, Least bittern,Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Snipe,Solitary and Least Sand., Spoonbill.Screech Owl , Northern Waterthrush
Beach Delray to Pompano: C. Loon, Frigatebird,Willet,Turnstone, Sanderling.
Evergreen Cem: Prothonetary and 11 other warbler species.
Tall Cypress: Swainsons Warbler. Pileated woodpecker, Osprey ( only 2 all day)
Staples pond ( commercial and University)
