Very upbeat article, but far from inclusive in details. For one, no mention that without weather, most of those big flocks on radar just keep going. Also, the Keys spots historically do much better than the hotspot he mentions here on the mainland (Barnes, Matheson, Sadowski). Just ask Bill B. and Trey about how good Barnes and Sadowski have been this year. I won't say any more about Matheson. The Cape seems to be our only reliable spot during spring, and that can be dead at times too. Spots in Broward weren't even mentioned, and places like H.T. Birch and Evergreen Cemetery can be much better than our local spots here in Dade.

Nice article, I'll agree, but fall migration treats us much better than spring. Spring migration here in SE Florida is not the bounty the article claims it is. For that, you need to go to Ft. De, Key West, or the Dry Tortugas, and pray there's a cold front coming the night before.
