Nothing rare, but for photography of waders, a pool at Loxahatchee can't be beat right now. Park at the last little lot on the right (just opposite the marsh trail) and walk around on the grass path sort of northwest. Shallow water has brought myriads of little fish to a relatively confined space and it is loaded with aigretted egrets of all species. Spoonbills, ibis, nearby limpkin, nesting pileated woodpecker and baby alligators round out the list. Not much for migration, but it will keep your camera busy.
