Ten birders scoured Greynolds Park for migrants this morning. We started out well, with 25+ individuals of 8 warbler species alongside the golf course (Worm-eating Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, American Redstart, Cape May Warbler, Northern Parula, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Palm Warbler, Prairie Warbler). We soon added a pair Painted Buntings and a couple of Summer Tanagers to our total.

After that, birds were much harder to come (except catbirds, cardinals, and jays). We did find 4 species of hawk (Osprey, Broad-winged, Red-shouldered, Cooper's), but that was about it.

There was a cooperative Yellow-crowned Night-Heron near the parking lot.
