This past Sunday, i visited Spanish River Park for a couple of hours. It was mostly cloudy and not as birdy as one would wish.
I had 2 Black-whiskered Vireos on a Gumbo Limbo tree eating the seeds on a female tree.
Several Prairie
1 male American Redstart (FOS)
1 Worm-eating Warbler
1 possible Swainson's Warbler (it could have been another Worm-eating Warbler).
Lots of Gray Catbirds and Northern Cardinals (m&f) some are nesting.
2 Great Crested Flycatchers (calling each other by the intracoastal area of the park)
NO sign of any Western Spindalis
1 Cape May Warbler
A pair of Painted Bunting
Several Fish Crow
A few Northern Mockingbird (one was on fire...it would not stop singing).
Had a glimpse of what might have been some type of Oriole or a female/ immature Summer Tanager ( could not get a shot)
