While out driving on the old Aero jet road (Lucky Hammock access road and Southern Glades wildlife area), Saturday afternoon, we observed no less than 15 white crowned pigeons. It appeared they were feeding in the poison wood trees. Lots of close up views. It seemed like they were everywhere. If you go, drive all the way to the end. It was worth the drive.
