Evergreen Cemetery continued to be productive on the 6th. Warblers included the usual suspects plus Cape May, Worm-eating and Swainson's (not seen by me). Chimney Swifts were present overhead, there were Cedar waxwings (3), a singing Blue-headed Vireo and a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. Instead of the usual Cooper's Hawks, birders were treated to a small kettle of Broad-wings, one of which came down and sat patiently for a photo shoot. Actually pretty easy to tell this stocky, shortish-tailed Buteo from an immature Coopers. The best activity is in a large rather bare ficus tree at the canal near the Turchin mausoleum.
