Almost all the wintering birds were gone from Sadowski yesterday morning, the Cardinals are playfully chasing each other around the Pea-Fowl were in full breading plumage and calling loudly to announce spring is here. No more Yellow-rumps and just a few Palms were still hanging around.
This morning I checked the radar and there was a large group of spring migrants leaving Cuba and headed up the West Coast of Florida and there was a strong line of migrants that made it over Dad County but I'm sure the few that made it over the East Coast Florida kept moving right over us, but....
Tomorrow the winds shift out of the WSW and there is rain in the forecast so if you have comp-time or need to take a morning off... Friday could be a good day for birding Dade and Broward Counties.
But then again... Spring has started so you might not see anything thing new!
