: In my neighborhood I heard a bunting but failed to find it. In my backyard I had a juvenile White-crowned Pigeon drinking at my bird bath for 2 days so far. I hope it comes regularly. For some good Blue Jay news, I had 5 today at my feeders! Great birding!

Buy a bag of peanuts (in the shell) and put one or two in a hanging planter by your back door. In no time you'll have the BJs eating outa your hand :)
