I last saw a female hummer yesterday---my regular male hummer left Mar.18th. I did have a male pass thru 2-3 days ago. I continue with an immature Red-start,Yellow-rump,palm and male Common Yellowthroat warblers. They bathe in my birdbaths and have been here a couple of weeks at least. The Painted Buntings (about 6) continue. My catbird loves eating the grape jelly I leave in a tray on a platform feeder. The Common Grackles are a nuisance, keeping the smaller birds on edge. They are constantly flying back and fourth to my saucer birdbaths with their favorite meal--the Geckos. They dip the Geckos, soak them and shred them before consuming and sometimes leave their meal in the bath long periods-----hope they leave soon but Geckos are overly abundant here. An Indigo Bunting would be great but the habitat here is probably not what they are looking for.
