Who is interested in getting involved? Anyone interested in getting training?
This is one of the biggest citizen science projects that Florida has undertaken. We are in the third year of a six year project and Miami-Dade is very underrepresented. I am coordinating Region 8 which includes Brevard to Martin Counties and Okeechobee. I will be dabbling in other counties including Glade, Hendry, Lee, Palm Beach, Broward, and maybe Dade.
I'm willing to come down and do a workshop for those interested or to help in other ways.
FOS is having a Blockbusting event in Clewiston May 31 to June 2 which would be a great chance to hob nob with atlasers from all over the state, learn everything you want to know about the BBA, and bird some great areas.
