PABU numbers increasing. Many are new birds based on the color patterns that are now frequently very orange on the breast whereas the "resident one" for the previous four months shaded into red. Females are about 7 in number with one very peculiar dark gray-green. All the other females distinctly green. Catbird numbers are also icreasing and they do love the suet cake. It has been an outstanding year for PABU.

Sadly, no indigo and never a lazuli. But I'll see lazuli by the score in another three weeks when I visit Yellowstone.
