In my efforts for bird-a-day, I've made stops yesterday and today in the vicinity of Deering Estate. In two days I've totaled 3 warbler species: Prairie, Parula, and Yellow-rumped. This means Spring Migration is definitely here. Word from Bill B. at A.D. Barnes was that his results were hovering between Diddly and Squat.
But, this latest wave of late-season cold fronts is encouraging. If we get one with some weather later in April we may get some good action.
