I checked out Lucky Hammock, The Annex, and the Eastern part of ENP with Roxanne and Jeanette and came up with very few migrants. Highlight was 2 Sedge Wrens at Lucky Hammock, a Clay-colored Sparrow, Brown-headed Nuthatches and Bluebirds at Research Road and Pine Key Picnic area in ENP. Jeanette and Roxanne stopped by my place and were treated to 5 lagging Goldfinches still hanging around my sock feeder. Most of the earlier Goldfinches (about 25) left a few days ago, but two of the Goldfinches still left were in their prime breeding colors. I expect they will leave shortly.
