This morning the vireo was singing for a few minutes just to the right of the white gate. Just before sunset we went looking for the Western Spindalis with no luck but did get great looks at the vireo. It was scolding and singing ~20 feet behind the gate on the right hand side of the trail. This marks the 17th day the vireo has been present since we first discovered it.
