I birded at noon today for a couple of hours. Activity was not bad considering the time I went. The main hammock had a quietly perched Broad-winged Hawk, singing Cardinals and a lively mixed flock consisting of several Yellow-rumped Warblers and N. Parulas, a Black-and-white Warbler, a dapper Black-throated Green Warbler male as well as a Blue-headed Vireo. At other parts of the park I added an Ovenbird, several Palm Warblers and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, a Gray Catbird and a female Painted Bunting. The usual residents were also seen. The RT Hummingbirds were not seen at the usual Orchid Trees and might have left by now.
