Spent the week with Sonny Bass and our team banding sooty terns. Very strong winds most of the time, which didn't help. Pom skua (=jaeager) on the way out, a mixed feeding group of gannets and masked boobies on the way back. Good selection of shorebirds, the resident whimbrel, semi-p, Wilson's, piping, kildeer, and back-bellied plovers, sanderling, western sandpiper, and dunlin; hooded, palm, yellow-rumped, B&W, and parula warblers. Bonaparte's gull (1).
