This morning as I was biking along Bear Lake Rd at 9:30am I saw a bird that made my hands trembled as I placed the binoculars in my eyes, a Mangrove Cuckoo with its black facial mask and buffy/yellowish under parts! A lifer for me. It proceeded to make its call and was responded by another a few yards away. It stayed for a few minutes and proceeded to grab a bite to eat on the ground. The exact location where I saw it was along Bear Lake Rd 100 yards from the end of it. I do have a picture in my IPhone, which I will post soon.

Everglades does not cease to impress me!
