Birders,
I, along with some friends, came down to Miami from Tallahassee this past weekend to look for the specialties. We only heard the Thick-billed Vireo on both Saturday and Sunday, never getting a look at the bird. The La Sagra's Flycatcher at Green Cay was vocal, but not visible on Sunday afternoon.
My main goal (besides seeing the Vireo) was to score some S. Florida specialties for my Photographic Big Year. Overall, it was a great success. Pictures here:
