Hey thanks for this - ironically I was at anhinga the same day and saw this guy. This bird is one of 140 individuals that were tagged last fall at Everglades National Park in an attempt to study their movements. I have posted a more comprehensive blurb about the study and how to report these sightings under a post called Reporting Tagged Vulture Sightings.
Thanks again! (Bit too early in data collection to give you much more of a history about this bird other than it does hang around anhinga a lot. Other tagged individuals have spread out farther lending interesting suggestions to their movements and lifestyles. There is a large roost south of anhinga trail that this adult might belong to).
