I spent this morning at the newly opened Mirimar Pineland Natural Area which is located on the west side of University Drive just north of the Dade/Broward county line. The most interesting birds seen today were Blue-headed Vireos and Grasshopper Sparrows but during the time I was working at the sight last year some of the more interesting bird sightings were Roseate Spoonbill, Great-horned Owl, Bald Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Merlin, and Whippoorwill. Check the link for the complete ebird report.
