Many migrants at Arch Creek/Enchanted Forest Parks in North Miami

In following up on early migrant reports from Robin(Crandon Garden) and Toe (Matheson Hammock) , both Arch Creek Park and Enchanted Forest Park in North Miami were very active with with large numbers of Yellow-rump, Parula, Palm, and Black and White Warblers (25 plus)feeding primarily in Live Oak Trees. Also seen were Yellow-throated Warbler(3), Black-throated Blues (3),Worm-eating Warblers(2), Prairie Warblers (2), American Red-starts (2),Magnolia Warbler (1)and an early Black-poll Warbler (1-male),Roger Hammer also reported a Black-poll Warbler in his yard this week. A Blue-headed Vireo was singing in Arch Creek Park as well many Parulas. A Broad-winged and Northern Harrier Hawk were observed flying over the park as well a small group of Great Blue Herons. Catbirds were common in both parks.
