While Toe had tons of warblers at Matheson, there were buckets of warblers in Crandon Gardens late this afternoon. All were Caribbean migrants but mixed in were more-than-usual catbirds, Yellow-rumps, Palms and a continuing Northern Waterthrush. There were good numbers of migrant Northern Parulas, Common Yellowthroats, Black-and-whites and Yellow-throated Warblers. If you looked hard, you could see a pulse of birds leaving the Miami area on the 8:20 PM radar loop.
