Had an interesting day out in Big Cypress. Got to meet Clyde Butcher, see his most popular shots, and explore his property along Tamiami Trail. Along Loop Rd, near the Environmental Education Center, found SIX Swallow-tailed Kites and found four more along 41 and 29. Also saw many White-eyed Vireos, Tufted Tutmice, Wren sp., etc. and more Wood Storks than I had ever seen before! One odd thing - virtually NO hawks seen anywhere.
