Very mild update: STA-1 W - had a pair of Black Skimmer, a pair or Ruddy Duck and you can clearly see that it is a pair. Male has lingering breeding colors, had a couple of immature Northern Harriers, saw a few American Wigeon, a couple of Ring-necked Duck, Lesser Scaup, Blue-winged teal, Northern Shoveler - 3 pairs, a male Kingfisher putting on a show, and that was about it.

Made a pit-stop at Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge and photographed a Carolina Wren, saw some cardinals, Catbirds, Tree Swallow, some Blue Teals, ibises, Boat-tailed Grackle and the typical herons and egrets. The lighting was simply not good for photography this afternoon.
