Wow! Great photo of the macaw. The phenomena of the macaws moving ( can't say migrating as they don't) is an event that I have observed for 15 years. Yesterday I had 20 Parrot lovers down for a conference come over to see the blue and yellows and they didn't show up! The flock comes sporatically beginning in March. The Peru macaws have been radio collared and they fly 400 miles for foraging which surprised the resarchers.
