There were 2 small waves of Purple Martins (~8 birds each time) moving south through Key Biscayne this afternoon. Least Terns have added another building to their nesting sites but unfortunately, this building will soon be torn down. Shorebirds are trickling in, after 2 weeks of none. All are in basic plumage. A young Great Black-backed Gull is still hanging around and last week an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull showed up. Cape Florida is still very buggy.
