I will be leading a carpool trip this Saturday to birding locations in Martin County. We'll visit Jonathan Dickinson State Park, home to Florida Scrub-Jays and Bachman's Sparrows, and Dupuis Management Area, where Red-cockaded Woodpeckers have been recently reintroduced. Meeting place options are 6:00AM at Doc Thomas House, or 7:30AM at Jupiter Ridge Natural Area in Jupiter, Palm Beach County. Bring a lunch.
Directions to Jupiter Ridge: From I-95 in Jupiter, exit at Indiantown Road (Exit 87). Drive east 4 miles to US 1. Turn right and drive south 1.3 miles to the parking area.
