Birded this morning for a couple of hours. Cardinals, Mockingbirds and even Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were in full song.

Saw the 5 possible pigeons at the park: Rock Pigeon, White-crowned Pigeon, Mourning Dove, White-winged and Collared Doves.

A warbler flock consisted of Palm, Yellow-rumped (also large numbers throughout the park), Black-and-white, N. Parula and Black-throated Green Warblers.

Merlin and Sharp-shinned Hawk were actively hunting.

Other birds seen were Loggerhead Shrike, House Wren, Gray Catbird, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, female Painted Bunting and the usual residents.
