Regarding Key Largo's Smooth-billed Ani, it is still here as of April 18, when I saw it fly from pole 228 across the highway into the Refuge office property. Several birders have mentioned seeing it pretty far east of the highway, in the Gulf Stream Shores neighborhood. Refuge staff also report many birders poking about their office and the adjacent neighborhood looking for it.
