Good afternoon,
Effective today, the American Birding Association Checklist Committee has added the Purple Swamphen to the ABA Checklist based on the exotic population established in Florida. Effective today, you may now "count" your swamphens on the lists that you submit to ABA.
(Please do not email me about any other "countability" or listing issues, as these are beyond the purview of the ABA Checklist Committee).
