When i heard the knocking, I spun around and saw two birds with red heads-immediately put the camera on them-focus and shutter were frozen so i could not distinguish my targets-was about to achieve manual focus when they flew off towards Hector's trailer. The one that (re)appeared was a juvenile-so I never saw more than two birds at once -your guess is better than mine as to whether they were 2 juveniles or an adult and juvenile.My assumption was that the bird I photographed was one of the two I saw initially--but I did not have either of them in continuous view from when they first flew off.It is possible(but unlikely) that I could have been looking at 3 birds.
