Rock Jetty, Toe and myself went to Marathon to get Antillean Nighthawks and Roseate Terns Saturday evening.

We were successful on both accounts.

I was quite happy to locate the Antillean's since I heard one a few weeks ago in the fields by the race track. While searching the fields for Shiny's and the White-rumped Sandpiper I had heard the call twice and saw one Nighthawk. I took photos and posted the sighting.

Now I know, I saw and heard an Antillean in the fields near the race track in Homestead. I was certain then, but without confirmation it left a little doubt in my mind.

No doubt now. The Antilleans I saw last night with Rock Jetty and Toe had the very same call as I heard the week before.

I slept well Saturday night and that is very good...
