Vierra Wetlands is a water treatment plant like Wako but unlike Wako it is much larger and most people drive the dikes. Next door are two small ponds known as the Click Ponds and the entire area is surrounded by farmland (that is quickly being developed). Take I95 North to Wickham Road. Exit and go west until the road ends. The treatment plant is right there on your left, ponds on the right.
I am pretty sure that last year, BBWD bred at Vierra. I recall seeing photographs from a number of South Florida photographers that were taken there. I can look into that more if you are interested. Anyway, its a nice place and a great place for Caracaras and other birds. I think it is in Pranty's guide too.
Let me know if you want more info.
