Was able to see the Warbling Vireo this morning in South Miami, my Florida first, and a winter one at that. Many thanks to Joe Barros' family, so generous for allowing me access to the yard. The bird was devouring gumbo limbo berries. There was plenty of bird life in the neighborhood.
Later headed to Matheson, the picnic area, and had the following:
Pied-billed Grebe
Anhinga
Black Vulture
Turkey Vulture
Yellow-chevroned Parakeet
Red-bellied Woodpcker
Downy Woodpecker
Yellow-throated Vireo
Blue Jay
Fish Crow
BG Gnatcatcher
N. Parula
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Pine Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Palm Warbler
N. Cardinal
