Decided to spend the first part of the morning at Dump Marsh looking for Toe's Snow Goose, and ran into both Rock Jetty and Rangel Diaz, who had similar ideas. Teaming up, we didn't find the goose but had an enjoyable morning highlighted by an adult male Redhead that Rock scoped out at the 2nd hidden lake. Rangel & I heard a Sora call on the way to the 1st hidden lake, and we saw 3 American Wigeon on the 1st hidden lake as well. We found a Harrier and a Merlin soaring among the hundreds of Turkey Vultures.
We also had great views of two American Crocodiles on the way out. My final tally was 47 species for the morning, and home before lunch.
