We met up with Paul Lehman this morning to look for the Bananaquit and as Robin wrote we had brief views but nonetheless Paul got to see it. We gave him specifics on the other two vagrants, hope he got them.
Later in the day Bob Carroll saw the bird and to our knowledge is the luckiest birder to see the Bananaquit. Bob was able to see the bird right where we had seen it late yesterday afternoon. Bob had extended (~20 min.) views of the bird! He struck out on both the La Sagra's Fly and the Spindalis but the Bananaquit made his day!
