This morning, I discovered that the "Tropical" Kingbird continues at the C-357 sparrow fields on SW 168 Street in SW Miami-Dade. I initially saw it on the fence that surrounds the cell tower near the entrance; it later flew to fences closer to the canal. It once again remained silent while I observed it, necessitating the quotation marks. Sparrows seen in the fields: one Lincoln's, several Grasshopper and many Savannah. I also saw two Indigo Buntings, one of which was transitioning to its blue breeding plumage.
At Chekika, two King Rails called several times along the boardwalk leading from the parking area, but both remained hidden from me.
