Spindalis Virginia Key - Not afternoon

I spent from approx. noon til 5:30 pm searching in vain for the continuing female Western Spindalis along the bike trails at Virginia Key, at times with other birders. No sight nor sound of the bird. Seems to take some time, patience, and a bit of luck.

The Bananaquit and La Sagra's were enjoyed earlier in the day. Great trifecta of rarities in such a small area.
