The La Sagra's Flycatcher continues in the same general area where I found it last Thursday. It called twice between 7:55 and 8 AM. At 8:20 it called 14 times and was visible in a dense Schinus clump about 40 yards north of the guardrail. For best viewing, bushwhacking to the other side of the berm is advised.

A Bell's Vireo is along Arthur Lamb, Jr. Road between Blue Parking #3 and Red Parking #1. It's on the west side of the clearing and is associating with a mixed flock. It gives both its distinctive scold call and sings. In addition to the usual gnatcatchers, cardinals and catbirds, the flock had: Great Crested Flycatcher, Common Yellowthroat, Northern Parula, Black-and-white, Yellow-throated, Magnolia, Yellow-rumped and Palm Warblers and White-eyed Vireo. Nearby were Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker and Blue-headed Vireo.
